But stardom didn't come easy for the comedian

He has been around for a decade, just that you didn't notice him that well. Currently he is enjoying this phase doing both television and films. He recently revealed that he isn't comfortable with double-meaning jokes.

"I am not comfortable with double meaning jokes. I don't like it. When it comes to TV shows we want to entertain everyone, right from kids to grandparents. When it comes to films, I would not be keen to do it until and unless it is required."

His peculiar style of narrating silly jokes in Sud's distinct tone made him popular. He was even awarded the Radio and Television Advertising Practitioners Association of India Award for outstanding voice-over performance. The line "Aaj main aako joke sunata hoon..... page number 34 upar se third joke" still echoes in our ears.

4. After starting off as a radio jockey, he did anchoring and even appeared in several Bollywood and Punjabi films, albeit in small roles.

His filmography includes movies like The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Family, Zila Ghaziabad and the recent Gabbar Is Back. Remember how he tried to copy Aamir Khan as Sanjay Singhania in Ghajini? His upcoming film is Baaghi with Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor.
