India’s star opener Smriti Mandhana has become the 2nd fastest Indian to reach 2000 runs in one-day Internationals, being played against the West Indies in Antigua on Wednesday, she hit a match-winning fifty. In this case, she has also surpassed Indian captain Virat Kohli.
In this match, she laid the foundation for Team India's victory and also became the fastest Indian woman to score 2000 runs in ODIs. India won by 6 wickets in the 3rd ODI on the basis of a brilliant innings of 74 runs off 63 balls of Mandhana. With this victory, the Indian team was captured 2-1 on the three-match series.

The record of completing the fastest 2000 is in the name of former South Africa batsman Hashim Amla (40 innings). In women's cricket, Belinda Clark and Meg Lanning of Australia are at the forefront of this matter. Benlida has done this in 41 innings while Lenning has done it in 45 innings.
In the two-match ODI series, India equaled victory in the second match against the West Indies after trailing in the first match.
